The cost of a New York hair transplant depends on the number of grafts and sessions necessary to complete your procedure.
This is different for each patient.
Usually the hair transplant cost is between $4,000 and $20,000 depending on how many grafts a person needs and the type of hair transplant procedure.
We offer financing through Chase Bank’s Care Credit.

Understand that Dr. Frank’s hair transplant surgeries are drastically different than unsightly plugs or embarrassing hairpieces.
In recent years, practices in hair restoration became more and more efficient and natural-looking thanks to revolutionary techniques.
Your hair transplant will look, feel, and grow completely natural — as if you’d never lost your hair.
For proof, see before and after pictures and read testimonials from our hair transplant patients.
The two main hair transplant techniques available are:
- Follicular Unit Transplant (also known as Strip Harvesting): Strip harvesting costs $3-$5 per graft, and the average case is usually around 2000 grafts.
- Follicular Unit Extraction: Hairs harvested one at a time in groups of 1-4 (the same way hair is naturally grown) are transplanted onto the patient’s balding areas. The price is $12-$15 per graft but usually less grafts than the strip procedure.
Other factors may be involved, but it should just be a one-time fee and usually no additional fees added for visits, medications, or consultations.
